The Opportunity We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Quality Manager / Engineer to take ownership of our quality assurance and quality control functions. In this critical role, you will ensure our products meet AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements, while driving continuous improvement across the organization. You'll lead a talented quality team, oversee our Quality Management System (QMS), and champion initiatives that enhance product integrity, process capability, and overall operational performance. If you're a practical thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for building robust quality systems, we'd love to meet you!
- Lead Quality Operations : Oversee inspection, testing, and validation of materials and finished goods.
- Manage QMS : Maintain and improve our AS9100 and ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System.
- Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement defect reduction and efficiency initiatives using proven methodologies.
- Team Leadership : Mentor and develop quality inspectors, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.
- Customer & Supplier Relations : Serve as the primary contact for quality-related communications and issue resolution.
- Audit & Compliance : Conduct internal / external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Production Support : Maintain an active presence on the shop floor and collaborate with production teams for real-time quality control.
- Cybersecurity Compliance : Support NIST 800-171 and CMMC maturity planning and reporting.
- Calibration Oversight : Manage gage and calibration systems, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
