Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero / Defense Entry Patrol in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will utilize your communication skills and professionalism to support a secure environment. Pay Rate : $19.64 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
  • Observe for unusual activity and report potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
