About the Role

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Director of Non-Profit Taxation to join our dynamic team. This position is fully remote and perfect for an experienced professional in tax management, compliance, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supervising and managing all tax-related functions within our organization, ensuring compliance and accuracy in tax return preparation and review.

Your main responsibilities include :

  • Overseeing tax compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conducting strategic tax planning and policy development.
  • Managing tax audits and advising management on tax law implications.
  • Leading and mentoring tax department staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Researching and analyzing tax law changes and their impact on our organization.
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in tax management specifically tailored to non-profit entities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax-related issues to management effectively. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with relevant certifications, is typically required for this leadership role.
