Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Monday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tuesday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Friday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Saturday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sunday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Carry out security-related procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the location's requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and / or emergencies.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
