STS Technical Services is hiring a Chief of Staff in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Position Summary :

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief of Staff to join its leadership team. This role acts as a key advisor and operational partner to the executive team, driving alignment, managing priorities, and ensuring key initiatives are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can translate vision into execution, and excels at managing cross-functional collaboration.

Core Responsibilities :

Align the leadership team on corporate strategy, goals, and key performance metrics

Lead and manage cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives

Prepare executive communications, board presentations, and strategic briefings

Monitor progress of key initiatives and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables

Coordinate leadership meetings, agendas, and decision-making frameworks

Manage the executive team’s bandwidth by filtering requests and prioritizing focus areas

Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, business units, and corporate functions

Identify organizational risks, operational gaps, and areas for process improvement

Support M&A integration activities, operational reviews, and efficiency projects

Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive corporate information with discretion

Qualifications :

10–20 years of experience successfully leading cross-functional teams

Demonstrated ability to lead directors and managers through operational strategy execution

Experience developing and managing budgets, programs, and performance metrics

Proven success in building partnerships with corporate, community, and civic stakeholders

Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of diplomacy

Experience in conflict resolution, coaching, and group facilitation

Leadership presence and negotiation skills with a focus on driving results
