Job Description :

The College of Education's Lastinger Center is seeking an OPS Implementation Support Specialist to assist with its Massachusetts ECSO Project. This position is time-limited / soft-funded and based in Massachusetts.

Specifically, the Center targets kindergarten readiness, 3rd grade reading proficiency, and algebra proficiency as critical milestones in children's educational trajectory that are predictive of success in school and life. Responsibilities :

Facilitation & Implementation

• Coach program leaders and educators on curriculum, classroom instructional practices and child assessment tools
• Facilitate and support team members in facilitating face-to-face and online professional development learning experiences for education professionals
• Support the implementation of the MA Dept of Early Education and Care initiatives, such as the CQI Playbook
• Create data displays for program leaders and educators to showcase class observation data
• Assist in evaluation of professional development offerings, including assessment of Communities of Practice (CoP) portfolios and coaching videos.
• Coordinate with field staff of the project to ensure consistency in implementation and effective communication structures.

Expected Salary :

$30-35 per hour. Commensurate with education and experience.

Required Qualifications :

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Preferred :

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
