ROLE SUMMARY

A distribution company in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and daily warehouse operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter data for outgoing shipments and incoming materials

Use RF scanners, computers, and printers

Perform basic quality checks on outgoing packages

Print shipment labels and required documentation

Ensure shipments are properly identified, labeled, and loaded

Track and update shipment status

Follow correct packing techniques

Troubleshoot shipping issues as they arise

Maintain punctual, reliable attendance

Keep work area clean and organized

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of shipping experience

Preferred Skills :

Basic computer proficiency

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and UPS Worldship

Strong attention to detail

Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

Customer-service mindset to support internal and external partners

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs regularly

Must perform all duties safely
