Production SupervisorLocation: Raleigh, NC
Shift: Nights initially; rotating 12-hour schedule (7:00 AM-7:00 PM), 2-on / 2-off, every other weekend
Job Summary We are hiring a
Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations, supervise hourly production staff, and ensure safety, quality, and delivery goals are met. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong computer skills, and experience working in a production environment.
Responsibilities - Supervise 18-23 hourly employees
- Lead daily production activities to meet output and shipping schedules
- Train employees, conduct team meetings, and manage performance
- Prioritize product flow between customer shipments and inventory
- Use computer-based manufacturing systems and Microsoft 365 MES tools
- Run and interpret daily production and shipment reports
- Address quality issues, rework, and performance gaps
- Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture
- Partner daily with process engineers to support continuous improvement
- Support new product introductions and production changes
- Assist with inventory and warehouse coordination as needed
Qualifications - Previous Production Supervisor or manufacturing leadership experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering environments
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse operations
- Strong computer and reporting skills (PowerPoint and Microsoft tools preferred)
- Ability to multitask, make decisions, and lead in a fast-paced setting
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with strong experience
Compensation - $75,000-$77,000 base salary, negotiable based on experience
- Bonus or incentive eligibility
Pay Details: $72,000.00 to $76,000.00 per year
