Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Sr. Manager Database to join their team. As a Sr. Manager Database, you will be part of the Technology Innovation Center supporting a dynamic team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Sr. Manager Database

Location : Richmond, Virginia or Dallas, TX

Pay Range : 170k

What's the Job?

  • Lead a portfolio of diverse Database technology projects and a distributed team of engineers.
  • Partner with stakeholders across various business units to influence strategic plans and roadmaps.
  • Guide teams to design, implement, and modernize intelligent, reliable, and scalable database solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies with consulting partners and vendors.
  • Inspire teams to achieve greatness and promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a relevant technical field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Database administration or engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports and building enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
