Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Technical Editor - Senior Responsibilities Include :  Work directly with analysts, fellow editors, and web developers to ensure that all analytic products conform to product templates, meet requirements of Intelligence Community Directives and ACIC publication standards, and maintain consistency and readability for diverse audiences.Provide editorial support to contractor analysts writing CI analytic products in support of analyses in response to specific requirements and periodic ACIC OPORDSResponsible for independently editing, designing, and managing the contents of the finished multimedia intelligence publicationsReview intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistencyEnsure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with the accompanying textEnsure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidanceWorks with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as neededEnsure final documentation is written with adequate clarity for the intended audience, arranged logically, grammatically correct, adhere to accepted rules of style, contain the proper security classification caveats and markings, as directed by national / DoD / DA guidance, and is formatted IAW established ACIC policies and standardsFormalize final products IAW established policies and standardsModify templates developed for 15 existing product lines and sub-product lines for products that range from two to more than 100 pages in lengthProvide analysts with expert technical knowledge and advice in planning, coordinating, and the time sequencing involved in the steps required to produce a publicationAttend meetings with government contractors, personnel from DA, National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), and National level intelligence agencies to discuss and solve technical issues involving the publication of final intelligence products, dissemination on electronic media, and conforming standards with DoDIISPerforms other job-related duties as assigned Technical Editor - Senior Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested :  Current TS / SCI security clearanceMinimum of two (2) of experience using Desktop Publishing, basic graphics, techniques, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum of eight (8) years of related experience is desired with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.Demonstrates ability to use logic and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate, and synthesize multiple sources of information.Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information. Demonstrates ability interpreting analysis to include, but is not limited to, its meaning, importance, and implications. Demonstrates ability to defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments.Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats.Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with strong grammar skills.Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information : Cherokee Analytics (CA) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
