About Operation Restoration :
Operation Restoration (OR) supports women and girls impacted by incarceration to recognize their full potential, restore their lives, and discover new possibilities. At OR, we focus on advocacy, education, economic mobility, and true economic equity for our staff, clients, and community. Our goal is to remove financial incentives for incarceration / detention to increase investments in social services, education, and healthcare for all people. Incarceration is defined as confinement in prison, jail, immigrant, juvenile or military detention, or a deportation facility. Directly impacted women and girls are those that are or have been incarcerated, arrested, are on probation and / or parole.
About the Position :
Under the direction of the Bail Disruptor Coordinator, the Bail Disruptor is a staff member committed to racial and economic justice. This position is responsible for screening bail referrals, providing court support and case management for bail fund clients, disrupting the criminal legal system, and fighting mass incarceration.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Evaluate potential clients for eligibility
Meet with clients to conduct a needs assessment and refer them to bail support services to support them after release
Provide clients with reminders about upcoming court dates and arrange all transportation support, where needed. Input required data into SalesForce within 24 hours (excluding weekends) and ensure consistency with organizational policies
Comply with Operation Restoration’s Record-Keeping and Banking policies, including but not limited to :
Following OR’s policies with respect to banking, e.g., making funds transfer requests or only using cashier’s checks
Verifying client data into Salesforce and OR’s banking drive
Monitors and administers the Safety and Freedom Fund by completing the following tasks :
Receive bond referrals from partners, including the Orleans Public Defenders Office, private attorneys, community partners, etc.
Review Clerk Connect to screen the client’s incarceration history
Communicate with third-party contacts to conduct initial intake assessments for bail screening
Review Clerk Connect daily to update client case status
Develop and maintain community partnerships related to the Safety and Freedom Fund and Operation Restoration
Collaborate daily with Operation Restoration staff to ensure organizational effectiveness
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties related to Operation Freedom, as assigned

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various constituencies in a diverse community
Experience working with formerly incarcerated individuals
Commitment to criminal justice reform
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google, and SalesForce products
Knowledge of Clerk Connect
Ability to work well with diverse individuals and groups, balance needs, and employ objectivity
Ability to manage timelines, prioritize multiple products and meet demanding deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to meet client needs and organizational changes
