Field Merchandise Coordinator - SOUTH EAST
Serena & Lily is seeking a Field Merchandise Coordinator, South East to join the Visual Merchandising Team and support out South East territory of Design Shops. You will report to the Field Merchandise Manager and support them in the creation, preparation, and execution of seasonal changes to the Serena & Lily Design Shop fleet. This role will collaborate with the Store Planning team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of product to stores, and partner with Store Leadership on standards and execution. Candidates with a background in visual merchandising and / or the interior design fields are preferred. This position will be a hybrid of remote and in-store work with travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist Merchandise Manager in developing, planning, and executing merchandise displays while strategizing according to individual store characteristics for all seasonal product launches.
- Implement the visual direction to meet Company standards, budgets, and timeline.
- Communicate visual directives and schedules to Design Shops (floor plans, bed diagrams / drops, Merchandise groups, etc.) and ensure flawless execution while adhering to brand standards.
- Maintain updated Design Shops seasonal imagery.
- Regularly update each Design Shop’s seasonal master floor set list to meet seasonal updates (wallpaper, lighting, etc.).
- Create and maintain seasonal FLOORPLANNER files for Design Shop Floorsets.
- Identify additional Design Shop specific visual merchandising opportunities to support increased sales.
- Utilize brand resources to teach standards of merchandising; develop teams’ product knowledge to appeal to the local customer.
- Regularly visit Design Shops to support product installations and maintenance.
- Support new store openings.
- Promote an inclusive environment by representing and amplifying all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectives to convey brand identity.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated interest in interior design, merchandising and art curation.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointDetail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic and an appetite to learn.A self-starter, willing to ask questions and seek solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work on multiple projects within a deadline driven environment both independently and with a group.Capability to plan, prioritize and organize.Open to work weekends, nights and holidays.Availability and aptitude to travel alone or with a group to all markets.Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.Ability to climb ladders.Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds.Ability to work varied hours / days to as well as weekends and holidays.Location
This position will be based in the South East, US with proximity to our South East Design Shops (including Charleston, SC). The position requires frequent travel and time in stores.COMPENSATION :
$62-68k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : experience, education, and skills.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily’s benefits. Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
