Manager, Social Media Content - iGaming

About the Role
As a Manager, Social Media Content - iGaming you will be creating and curating engaging content across all of our iGaming and Poker social media channels. To be successful in this role, you will have a natural creative flair and an eagerness to grow a highly engaged following in a relatively untapped corner of the internet. You will have the opportunity to help develop our social media channels in a rapidly growing industry, working with outside vendors and internal departments to ensure we are leaders in the space. Reporting directly to our Senior Social Media Manager, this is an opportunity for you to build channels and own process from ideation to publication. You will have one direct report to support in their day-to-day content creating needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the social media strategy, content, copy, and publishing across a variety of iGaming channels
• Develop the BetMGM tone of voice when applied to Poker and Casino industries
• Work with Senior Social Media Manager to implement long-term strategic vision
• Initiate cross-functional brainstorms and project kick-offs presenting high-quality ideas, leading in recommendations, and wrapping with in actionable initiatives
• Plan and execute in-person event coverage at iGaming major events
• Utilize data and insights to strategize for follower growth and engagement
• Maintain a rolling content calendar to align with brand marketing initiatives and promotions
• Oversee, provide guidance to, and manage the performance of your direct report.
• Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Social Media Management
• Knowledge and passion for Poker, casinos, and/or gambling is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant working experience required
• Previous experience with Sprout preferred but not required
• Willingness to travel as needed, including nights and weekends
• Expert or Intermediate photoshop skills required
• Experience with full Abode Creative Suite preferred
• An out-of-the-box thinker who is both highly creative and decisive
• An eye for detail and ability to provide objective feedback
