Description
eGastroMD is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our Patients Records department in New York. This full-time remote position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to start their career in the healthcare industry while contributing to the efficient management of patient records.
As a Medical Records Clerk you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and confidential patient information ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering quality care. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates who are passionate about healthcare and have a keen eye for detail.
We offer a competitive hourly salary ranging from $26 to $34 along with a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain patient medical records in an efficient manner
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient information
- Assist healthcare providers in retrieving patient records as needed
- Process requests for medical records in compliance with regulations
- Monitor and update electronic health record systems
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Collaborate with team members to improve record-keeping processes
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and best practices
