The Event Producer will, under the general direction of Executive and Senior Event Sales Managers, will be responsible for developing existing business and initiating new business. The Event Producer will be responsible for the organization of events from inception to execution including proposals, menu development, contracts, deposits, walkthroughs, rentals, staffing, delivery, décor, set up, timeline and tear down. If you are interested in working in a fast paced team environment for the premier event company in central Ohio we would love to hear from you! This position does require evening and weekend hours!
Event Producer responsibilities :
Acts as the liaison between the client and Cameron Mitchell Premier EventsAssures proper event execution, service and safety standardsPractices and supports Cameron Mitchell Restaurants culture and exhibits Genuine Hospitality at all timesTakes and responds to initial client inquiries via phone and internetCreates proposal in line with clients vision and company standardsMeets with client to make rental selections, begin preliminary detailsUnderstands and navigates through CatereaseInputs new events and modifies current events in CatereaseAttends walkthroughs and client meetingsCommunicates to client professionally at all times via email, in person or via phoneManages time within given scheduleResponsible for client billingAttends networking events as neededWeekly review of period, quarter and yearly sales goalsEvent Producer skills
2+ years of catering, sales or venue experienceAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent team development and leadership skillsPreferred : Bachelors degree in related fieldEssential Responsibilities : I nclude the following and other responsibilities that may be assigned :
Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.Exemplifies hospitality standards. Answers guest's questions about the restaurant. Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.Cooperates with management and co-workers to assists others with duties, if needed. Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.5.Knows emergency procedures in the restaurant.
