Job Summary
Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) is seeking a PR Marketing Analyst Sr (Social Media) to play a crucial role in understanding and engaging with PVCC’s diverse segment audiences. This position leads the development of impactful content across various digital channels, including social media, email, and apps. This role will translate marketing strategies into compelling digital content, leveraging audience research and performance insights for optimal results. The PR Marketing Analyst Sr (Social Media) will stay updated on best practices and tools in digital communications, creating cohesive and engaging digital content. To best serve the students, divisions / departments, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus.

Essential Functions
30% Develops and coordinates content creation for PVCC’s digital platforms, including social media posts (both paid and organic), email campaigns, and app communications.
20% Collects, writes and disseminates content for college’s social media platforms, blog posts website, newsletters, and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency with messaging, voice, tone, style, and brand guidelines. Plans and conducts interviews with students, staff and faculty as appropriate. Manages the Marketing Student Ambassador Program.
15% Assists communications team with writing and editing website content using search engine optimization, best
practices to improve performance and lead generation.
15% Partners with Student Affairs teams to create specific enrollment campaigns for organic and paid social media, including Recruitment, Financial Aid, Early College, and other relevant stakeholders, will also implement multicultural campaigns that support the colleges’ Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity initiatives.
10% Cultivates and maintains strong media relations for PVCC; coordinates media coverage and public relations for
college events, programs, and services, conducts proactive outreach as well as response to press inquiries; prepares,
writes and distributes various written content including press releases and articles.
5% Attend / cover campus events and activities, some of which occasionally events occur outside of regular business hours.
5% Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field and four years of professional journey level experience in developing and implementing social media content for marketing and public relations activities, projects and campaigns.

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Desired Qualifications
1. Four (4) or more years of demonstrated experience developing content for a variety of digital and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
2. Four (4) or more years of experience working with social media monitoring and reporting tools in order to track content effectiveness and prepare reports.
3. Four (4) or more years of experience in the development and deployment of integrated marketing communications campaigns.
4. Four (4) or more years of experience in CRM systems and disseminating campaigns and promotions through electronic delivery systems.
5. Four (4) or more years of proficient writing and content creation skills for social media, digital, and earned media platforms, as demonstrated by the submission of a professional design portfolio. (See details in “
