Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Shift : 3rd shift, 12 hours

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of two years of nursing education required

License : Current state Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact

Certifications :

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
  • AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required

Must-Have :

  • Cardiac Telemetry Care experience
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population including Myocardial Infarction, Congestive Heart Failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice

    • Description :

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

    This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

    The Staff RN-Inpatient job description incorporates essential functions adapted from recognized nursing standards.

    Scheduled hours will include 12-hour night shifts, floating as needed, and working every other weekend.
