Join our team as a Dental Assistant in Monterey, CA!

Position Details :

• Role : Dental Assistant (DA)
• Employment Type : Full-Time
• Schedule : Typically Monday - Thursday, based on patient need. Monterey Perio Center follows an Alternative Workweek Schedule (AWS) approved by the State of California , allowing full-time employees to work four days per week, generally up to ten hours per day , with occasional shorter days depending on the practice schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures

Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas

Provide exceptional patient care and education

Take digital X-rays and dental impressions

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling

Contribute to a team-oriented, patient-first practice

What We’re Looking For :

Excellent patient care & customer service skills

Strong communication abilities (oral & written)

Experience in the dental field (new grads welcome to apply!)

Familiarity with Dentrix (preferred but not required—training provided)

Front desk experience (a plus for multi-taskers!)

Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail-driven personality

Reliable, professional, and organized work ethic

Bilingual in Spanish (a big plus!)
