Job Description
A leading global private equity firm is seeking an Administrative Manager to join its NYC office. This is an opportunity offering exposure to senior leadership, strategic initiatives, and a collaborative, high-performance culture.
On-site schedule : 5 days per week (Midtown Manhattan)
Pay : $75-$90 / hour
Hours : 9am-6pm
Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of 60+ administrative professionals, including Executive Assistants and Team Leads, ensuring consistent, high-quality support across business units
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation planning, and career development for administrative staff
- Partner with senior executives, business managers, and HR to anticipate staffing needs and implement workforce planning strategies
- Lead training, engagement, and development programs to strengthen the administrative talent pipeline
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives to enhance administrative operations and organizational efficiency
- Monitor coverage, workload balance, and overtime to ensure optimal team productivity
- Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between executives, operations, and HR on all admin-related matters
Qualifications :
7–10+ years of progressive experience managing large administrative teams within financial or professional servicesProven success in performance management, coaching, and professional developmentStrong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersExperience with workforce planning, recruiting, and process improvement initiativesStrategic mindset combined with hands-on leadership styleBachelor’s degree required
