Credit Analyst needed for a mortgage company in Garden Grove CA. This is an ON-SITE Temporary to Hire position. Target start date of 11/24/2025. Pay rate is $21.65/hr. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Must pass a drug and background check, which may include credit check, as required prior to start. The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information pertaining to loans. In addition to verifying and updating credit information, as requested by clients in support of the mortgage underwriting process, it provides operational support to the production team throughout the credit report process.

Duties Include:

• Customer problem resolution via the telephone.
• Inbound consumer and client calls.
• Word processing, including general correspondence and data entry.
• Interface with customers regarding inquiries and complaints.
• Effectively research the Internet for documentation to assist with verification requests.
• Analyze credit files to determine the cause of missing data and changes to credit data.

Skills / Experience:

• Min 1 year prior Credit and Call Center experience
• High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Mortgage experience is a plus
• Credit reporting, loan servicing, mortgage banking, and/or call center background is a plus
• Basic typing - 25 wpm
• Possess effective written / verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills
• A thorough understanding of customer satisfaction

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.65 - $21.65 Per Hour
