Pay Rate : $52.00 – $62.27 per hour

Job Summary :

The Product Delivery Manager for Research & Discovery is responsible for turning ambiguous business needs into clear, validated, and estimate-ready problem definitions. This role leads hands-on product discovery and research , translating complex inputs into actionable insights that enable accurate IT estimates and informed leadership investment decisions. This position is not a delivery role and does not include people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Discovery & Problem Framing

Convert vague business problems into fully defined opportunities with customer, business, and regulatory framing.

Produce “shovel-ready” Discovery Packets to support IT estimation, capital requests, and strategic prioritization.

Partner with the Senior Manager of Product to create ROI models when needed.

Translate scattered backlogs into clear, strategic themes.

Research & Validation Leadership

Lead customer research activities including interviews, usability testing, concept validation, and prototype feedback.

Leverage call center data, quality management analytics, and operational insights to validate root causes.

Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Product to identify regulatory constraints impacting solution options.

Create product service blueprints, journey maps, business rule definitions, and low-fidelity prototypes.

Stakeholder & Scope Management

Align with Domain Product Managers to understand end-to-end journey impacts and constraints early in the process.

Partner with Domain Product Managers to define MVP boundaries and ensure IT estimates reflect a realistic, validated scope.

Ensure all discovery artifacts are aligned prior to transitioning work to estimation or execution.

Required Experience :

5+ years of experience in Discovery, UX Research, Product Strategy, or Service Design.

Demonstrated ability to translate user needs and operational insights into measurable business value.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Experience working within large, complex, and regulated enterprise environments.

Required Skills :

Product discovery and problem framing

User research and validation techniques

Journey mapping and service blueprinting

Preferred Skills :

Early-stage prototyping

Cross-functional stakeholder facilitation

ROI and business case modeling

Additional Skills :

Regulatory constraint analysis

Backlog synthesis and thematic planning

MVP definition and scope validation

Operational and call center data analysis

Education :

High School Diploma or equivalent
