Senior A&P Fixed-Wing Mechanic

Because every mission could save a life. Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure aircraft remain airworthy and mission-ready. Notify the Lead Mechanic of any schedule changes, technical challenges, or unusual maintenance requirements. Manage all maintenance activity for assigned aircraft, including stock level reviews and parts requisition. Maintain the safety and security of all company assets at your assigned base. Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify maintenance work in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards. Maintain detailed and accurate records in RAMCO, including removals, installations, and work package documentation. Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other team members to ensure timely job completion. Maintain company tools and ensure calibration and accountability. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Must pass a pre-placement physical exam (including lifting up to 100 lbs), drug screening, and background check. Preferred Skills (Roving Maintenance Team) Experience with sheet metal repair and / or avionics troubleshooting and repair. Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice. Flexibility to work night shifts as needed. Schedule & Location 7 & 7 rotation schedule. Redding, California. Must live within one hour or 60 miles of base (whichever is greater). Travel between bases required. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate : $34.54 – $48.63. Annual Earnings Potential : $82,620 – $116,323. Sign-On Bonus : Up to $30,000 (for eligible California candidates). Location Bonus : Up to 15%. Overtime and double-time earning potential.
