Job Description
The Admissions Counselor serves as a liaison between the university and the community at large. To serve in this capacity entails visiting with high school guidance counselors, students and their parents, and other education officials without supervision at private visits in high schools, college fairs, and at other special functions throughout Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

Qualifications
Minimum : Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant experience in enrollment services, recruitment, or admissions, either as an RA, SGA while in school, or professionally; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A valid driver's license is required.
Preferred : Two to three years of experience in a college admissions office or comparable collegiate / business, experience with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, or higher education in Tennessee is preferred.
