We are looking for a Contract Manager of Merchandising Operations to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This long-term contract role will fill in for our Senior Manager during their leave, ensuring continuity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, streamlining workflows, and supporting merchandising strategies on a global scale.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee project management for end-to-end milestones by managing the Americas product and merchandising calendar, aligning timelines across teams, and resolving operational challenges.
- Coordinate yearly promotional strategies, ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
- Create and deliver product reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision-making and seasonal merchandising execution.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational workflows, aligning priorities with overarching merchandising strategies.
- Maintain governance standards and refine templates to ensure consistency and efficiency within merchandising operations.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Development teams to optimize processes and deliver market-ready products.
- Serve as a liaison across cross-regional and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and operational excellence.
- Manage data hygiene and ensure accurate information is maintained to support merchandising and product initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure best practices are upheld in all aspects of merchandising operations.
- Proven experience in merchandising operations, project management, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable insights through data reporting.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and other data management systems.
- Excellent organizational and calendar management abilities to oversee complex timelines and workflows.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and regions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement solutions for improvement.
- Knowledge of promotional strategies and experience managing promotional data and execution.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on driving operational excellence and alignment with business goals.
