Job Description
Selectek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager / Plant Engineer to lead maintenance operations and drive world-class equipment reliability within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), supporting performance systems, and ensuring strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is committed to safety, continuous improvement, and maximizing equipment performance.
Responsibilities :
- Lead a comprehensive safety program to protect employees and prevent workplace injuries.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Implement and sustain a reliability-centered maintenance program to increase machine uptime, improve OEE, and reduce operational costs.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team to achieve high standards of plant condition and equipment performance.
- Evaluate the technical skill levels of maintenance personnel and support ongoing training and development initiatives.
- Scope, plan, and execute capital projects; assist with annual budgeting; and manage maintenance department spending.
- Identify and implement technical improvements to equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Use reliability tools to identify root causes of failures and downtime; implement corrective actions to improve reliability and prevent recurrence.
- Act as an active member of the plant leadership team, serving as a communicator, problem solver, and driver of continuous improvement.
- Support pillar-based continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Qualifications :
Strong understanding of OSHA requirements for industrial equipment, with the ability to identify and close safety gaps.Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a collaborative and high-performing maintenance team.Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis techniques (FMEA, 5 Why's, ATS, etc.) and implementing countermeasures to support a zero-breakdown culture.A process-driven mindset with the ability to identify operational gaps and implement effective improvements.Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, lubrication, and predictive maintenance systems.Ability to effectively manage costs and optimize the budget.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS systems.Experience
Minimum 3+ years leading a maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environmentOR
5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.Pay : $116,160 to $ 140,000, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
