Hybrid Pharmacy Technician (Onsite Training – Texas Pharmacy Technician Licensed)

Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday, between 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM CST

Work Arrangement : Onsite for the first 60 days, then hybrid (remote flexibility after successful training)

Location : Irving, Texas (onsite training required)

The Hybrid Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in processing prescriptions, supporting pharmacists, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. This position offers the opportunity to build experience in a professional, collaborative environment with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid schedule after successful completion of training.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and process new prescriptions accurately in accordance with pharmacy policy and state regulations.

Manage refill requests, eligibility verification, and third-party claim adjudications.

Verify patient and prescriber information to ensure accuracy and authorization.

Support medication preparation, record keeping, and inventory control under pharmacist supervision.

Assist with prescriber and shipment-related calls as needed.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting service level expectations for quality and productivity.

Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License required

At least 6 months of prior pharmacy experience required (retail, fulfillment, or mail order).

Reliable transportation required for onsite training.

Ability to be onsite Monday–Friday during the training period (minimum 30–60 days).

Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy systems preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule

8-hour shifts scheduled Monday–Friday between 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM CST.

30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Onsite for initial 60 days; hybrid schedule available after successful completion of training and performance review.
