[job_card.job_description]Experience : 8+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role, with at least 3+ years in a senior or architectural capacity on the Google Cloud Platform. GCP Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience with core GCP services, including Compute Engine , GKE , Cloud Storage , BigQuery , VPC , and IAM . Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Deep expertise in Terraform is mandatory. Experience with other IaC tools is a plus. CI / CD : Proven experience in designing and managing CI / CD pipelines. Containers : Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes . Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python , Bash , or Go . Networking & Security : Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, security principles, and compliance frameworks. Certifications (Highly Preferred) : Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect and / or Professional DevOps Engineer . Soft Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic GCP DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform. In this senior role, you will be responsible for creating the architectural blueprint for our DevOps practices, ensuring our systems are automated, reliable, secure, and scalable. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to drive best practices and innovation across our entire technology stack. Your expertise will be vital in modernizing our infrastructure and accelerating our product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design : Design, plan, and implement robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP using tools like Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager . Define best practices for network architecture, resource provisioning, and cost management.
- CI / CD Pipeline Development : Architect and manage end-to-end CI / CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build , Jenkins , and GitHub Actions . Ensure automated testing, security scanning, and deployment of applications to environments such as GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) .
- Security & Governance : Implement and enforce security best practices across the GCP environment. This includes managing IAM (Identity and Access Management) , VPC Service Controls , and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Containerization & Orchestration : Lead the design and management of containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes , specifically on GKE.
- Monitoring & Logging : Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Cloud Monitoring , Cloud Logging , and other third-party tools to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaboration & Leadership : Act as a subject matter expert for GCP and DevOps principles. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical strategy.
