Your Responsibilities as a Locator :
- Utilize advanced locating equipment to accurately find gas lines, marking them clearly to prevent utility damage.
- Build your expertise in underground utility infrastructure.
- Adhere to all safety and damage prevention guidelines at the company, client, state, and federal levels.
- Occasionally locate other types of utilities as necessary based on assigned projects.
This role requires full-time availability during the day, with the possibility of working after holidays and on weekends as needed to meet our 48-hour turnaround schedule. Flexibility for overtime and on-call shifts is essential.

Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions; previous outdoor experience is a plus.Availability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as necessary.Ability to travel locally during work hours; occasional overnight travel may be expected.Must pass a drug screening due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position.A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs.) on varied terrain.Able to distinguish colors for utility marking.Basic computer skills required.Ability to read and understand locate tickets, maps, and perform basic math for distance calculations.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and contractors; customer service experience is advantageous.We celebrate diversity and are an Equal Opportunity Employer, encouraging veterans to apply.
