• Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding Patient Experience by executing key steps, including :
• Warmly greeting patients
• Clearly explaining the process
• Guiding frame and lens selection
• Helping solve visual challenges
• Processing payments accurately
• Dispensing eyewear with care
• Assist patients in finding frames and lenses that meet their vision needs, lifestyle, and budget; offer recommendations and solutions for complex challenges.
• Proactively identify potential issues, understand their underlying causes, and develop effective long-term solutions.
• Provide patient care with patience and courtesy, ensuring all inquiries are addressed and resolved.
• Ensure all finished eyewear meets optical standards and satisfies customer requests.
• Take personal responsibility for your results and contribute positively to the practice's goals.
• Act as a role model in your development and support other team members with your technical knowledge.
• Accurately operate the Point of Sale system, inputting customer and prescription details with attention to detail, while following security procedures for transactions.
• Requirements :
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Participation in a recognized Optician Apprenticeship Program in a licensed state
• Outstanding customer service skills, including effective communication and teamwork
• Understanding of current optical theories and products
• Strong basic math abilities
• Knowledge of fashion trends in eyewear
• Sales acumen and service skills
• Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, computers, and calculators
• Adaptability to new technology and a willingness to embrace change
