Sovereign Consulting Inc. is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist with 3-5 years of experience for our Oxford, CT location. Sovereign Consulting Inc. is an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ.

Responsibilities :

• Provide field and office support of site investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation and soil sampling.
• Support environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remediation design.
• Assist with technical report preparation documents including data input and interpretation.
• Have an understanding of the CT Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs), UST Regulations, Significant Environmental Hazard Program, CT Transfer Act, and other similar programs / requirements.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Handle other related duties assigned; and
• Adherence to Sovereign Consulting Inc. health and safety procedures in all field related activities.

Requirements :

Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate’s ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. A background check will also be required. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
