General Responsibilities :

Construction Inspectors spend the majority of their time working on projects performing construction-related inspections requiring specific certifications and / or experience. They perform daily inspections of construction projects, monitoring quality and adherence to building code requirements, construction drawings, and project specifications. Inspections may include multiple disciplines such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, fireproofing, etc., and may involve visual / physical inspection and field testing to verify conformance. Inspectors prepare reports and document observations, testing, and findings, communicating results to engineers or project managers. They collaborate with project teams on solutions to potential issues and adhere to strict safety standards.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities :

• Perform testing, observation, and inspection as directed, following training and procedures to ensure work conforms to specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Document findings clearly and accurately.
• Prepare inspection reports and document nonconformance.
• Analyze data for accuracy before submitting to the Project Manager.
• Communicate findings to relevant personnel and interact with clients and site personnel as needed.
• Assist in developing scope for testing and inspection services.
• Coordinate pre-dispatch activities and maintain equipment calibration.
• Assist senior inspectors on complex projects.
• Drive company vehicles as required.
• Follow safety practices, report issues, and maintain quality standards on all projects.

The salary range is $37.75 - $52.75 per hour, adjusted based on location, qualifications, and experience.
