GENERAL SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate massage therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a genuine passion for enhancing the well-being of others. They will excel in creating customized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's unique needs and preferences. These duties are to be performed confidentially, following the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests. FTE: Full time, Part time and PRN available. Monday-Friday 8:00 am.-5:00 .
DESCRIPTION:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality massage therapy sessions using a range of modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage and postnatal massage.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, lifestyle factors, and individual goals to customize treatments effectively.
• Maintain a clean, serene, and welcoming environment in massage therapy rooms, ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and organized.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized self-care practices to support their wellness journey.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of massage therapy, participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and adhere to all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Valid state massage therapy license and certification from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a massage therapist in a similar setting.
• Proficiency in a diverse range of massage modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, and aromatherapy, with the ability to tailor treatments to address clients' specific needs and preferences.
• Strong anatomical knowledge and understanding of human physiology, enabling the therapist to assess clients' conditions accurately and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate treatment options, benefits, and self-care recommendations.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and hygiene in all aspects of massage therapy practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Current certification in CPR and basic first aid (preferred), along with a willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness through massage therapy.
