We're seeking a Refrigeration Sales Engineer in Kansas City, MO to develop new business and provide technical sales support for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
Impact
• Drive revenue growth through strategic account development
• Support customer success through expert technical consultation
• Build market presence in cold storage and food processing sectors
• Enable efficient operations through optimized system solutions
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage sales pipeline for refrigeration projects
• Conduct site surveys and system assessments
• Prepare technical proposals and equipment selections
• Design refrigeration systems and load calculations
• Present solutions to customers and answer technical questions
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
• Coordinate with engineering and operations on project execution
• Build relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users
Requirements
Must-Haves
• 7+ years of refrigeration sales or engineering experience
• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Experience with ammonia and CO2 refrigeration
• Proven track record exceeding sales targets
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
Nice-to-Haves
• Engineering degree or technical training
• IIAR or RETA certification
• Experience with cold storage or food processing industries
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability
Compensation & Logistics
