Luxfer Gas Cylinders manufactures and distributes gas cylinders and is an operating unit of Luxfer Group based in Riverside, CA. Our products serve customers in major gas cylinder markets, including medical, life support, beverage, fire, scuba, and specialty gases. We maintain operating facilities in the United States, the UK, Canada and China. With more than 50 million Luxfer cylinders in service, we pride ourselves on an exemplary record for dependable service and safety.

Under the direction of the Director of Innovation and Engineering, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the Engineering team and overseeing the engineering activities related to capital expenditure, the manufacturing of composite cylinders, and automation of the manufacturing process.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive performance, innovation, and safety within the manufacturing environment. The position is based at the Luxfer Riverside, CA facility.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Leadership and Team Management :

Mentor, guide and support engineering team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects, including new equipment installations, process improvements, and facility upgrades, within budget and timeline constraints.

Ensuring the engineering department collaborates with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and maximize operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality requirements, and safety protocols in all engineering activities.

Job Skills and Requirements

Compensation Range : $140,000 to $155,000
