Location : Stockton, CA

Duration : January June 2023 (potential for extension)

Schedule : 7-14 shifts per month Monday-Sunday

Shift : 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Day shift must be able to proficiently teach residents and med students (only topic discussion, no lecture or power points)

Call : n / a

Daily Patient volume : up to 15 patients in the nursery, rounds very, ed consults vary

Nightly volume : 2-3 ER consults per night, admits up to midnight, discharges in the morning

Scope : PED unit rounds, nursery rounds, ed consults, admits / discharges

only attend deliveries if OB calls them in

if premature pregnancy, neonate attends, the ped does not

Procedures : Lumbar punctures, and I and D, no Circumcisions

EMR : Cerner (will do remote training)

Hospital : L evel I trauma center, 350 beds, level III NICU

Group / support : neonates 24 / 7, UR, ORS, ENT, ANES (surgical support), all medicine support is telemed

No NPs, solo at night

Requirements (boards, license) : Board certification, board eligible with California license and CA DEA, COVID vaccine required

Travel, Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities

Assistance with credentialing provided EXPEDITED 30 days if NPDB is clean
