Warehouse Associate

We are one of the largest mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors in Indiana and among the preeminent specialty contractors in the nation. We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects. Shambaugh is seeking a warehouse associate. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating, organizing and hauling construction material and equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Pull parts and materials from work orders, checking for damages and conformity to work orders
• Safely and properly operate and load parts into varying types of vehicles, including forklifts, vans, and trucks of varying sizes
• Use a computer for IRT's
• Drive delivery vehicle to the destination, ensuring route efficiency and a safe speed during all parts of the trip
• Make deliveries and check for accuracy
• Other duties as required

Qualifications include:

• Excellent communication skills
• Accountable work ethic
• Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills
• Drivers license with good driving record
• Regional travel required. Vehicle will be provided
• Forklift certification
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required

Compensation range: $20 - 22 per hour. Other compensation: This position is bonus eligible.
