Title: Regional Sales Manager (Foods)
Location: Remote, Midwest regional travel

Target Salary: $110,000 - $120,000/year, plus commission & bonus

Overview:
Seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the Midwest. This role focuses heavily on in-market selling, prospecting, and opening new accounts, with a small existing book of business. The position is remote with significant regional travel and is ideal for a food sales professional who thrives on face-to-face selling and representing a strong, product-driven brand.
Job Duties:
- Drive new customer acquisition across a large Midwest territory through face-to-face selling
- Maintain and grow a small portfolio of existing accounts
- Spend significant time in-market meeting distributors, customers, and prospects
- Build and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Represent the brand with deep product knowledge and enthusiasm for the food industry
- Partner with internal teams to support customer needs and close opportunities
- Track activity, pipeline, and performance against targets
- Serve as a visible, accountable sales leader in a historically high-performing region
Qualifications:
- Strong background in food sales required
- 5–6+ years of sales management or senior-level sales experience
- Proven success managing and growing a large regional territory
- Dairy or cheese industry experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to win new business through in-person selling
- Comfortable with autonomy, accountability, and high visibility
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 40 weeks per year
- Typically Monday–Thursday
- Must live within reasonable access to a major airport
