DevOps Engineer

About the role

Seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing cyber team supporting a large SOC enterprise environment in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevSecOps infrastructure, Linux administration, and cybersecurity operations. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure tools, ensuring secure and efficient operations in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, test, certify, and operate DevSecOps infrastructure tools.
• Manage patching and interoperability issues across multiple systems.
• Serve as the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce for various tools.
• Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service providers.
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers for dynamic website hosting.
• Debug cluster-based computing architectures.
• Use scripting or programming skills to solve operational problems.
• Install and manage open-source monitoring tools.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps tasks and infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with Linux-based environment administration.
• Experience in deploying, testing, and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure hardware and software.
• Ability to develop and maintain specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
• Strong problem-solving skills using scripting or programming.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within a cyber team.
• Ability to manage and operate multiple DevSecOps tools and services.
• Willingness to work onsite in Huntsville, AL.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with CI Poly eligibility.
