No weekends or holidays requiredDuties and Key Responsibilities
Greets and escorts patients through the medical practice.Completes nursing assessments of patient by completing history of present disease and illnesses with accuracy and documents appropriately in patient electronic medical record.Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in implementing physician orders.Incorporates holistic approach to Patient Centered Medical Home, thus moving beyond problem focused care.Implements and documents clinical and technical aspects of care.Evaluates patient’s response and understanding to plan of care by using teach back method.Openly and appropriately communicates with patient, physicians and other members of health team.Serves as a liaison for patient with outside agencies, businesses and providers, establishing a therapeutic relationship with the patient and family.Respect patient’s rights to privacy, dignity and confidentiality.Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with all internal and external customers.Maintains established health system and work area policies and procedures, objectives, guest relations, safety, environmental and infection control guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned.Requirements
Clinical skills in delivering patient care in an outpatient setting.Obtains and maintains successful completion of BCLS Healthcare Provider Course.Communications effectively with physicians, patients and coworkers to maintain respect and a positive work environment.Education / Certifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of OhioExperience
