The Field Service Technician Firestop installs approved firestop, smoke-stop systems, designed to restore the rating to fire/smoke assemblies to compliant construction. These systems are designed and tested as a component of the life safety industry and require following a detailed set of instructions to ensure adequate installation.
Work is conducted primarily in hospital and commercial settings in all kinds of indoor and outdoor climates, above ceiling grid, usually in and around dust. This position is primarily responsible for the assessment of rated barriers and quality firestop application in hospitals and commercial buildings.

Ensure clean job site.
Maintain professional, timely communication with customers and staff.
Clear and effective communication written and verbal.
Effective Customer Service Skills
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Attend any required training activities.
Other duties as assigned (Support other service lines)
Must be willing to travel extensively.
