Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle DRM/DRG Developer & SME to support, enhance, and optimize enterprise metadata management across multiple finance systems. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Hyperion DRM/DRG, strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, and hands-on integration experience with Oracle ERP GL, Oracle EPM (PBCS/EPBCS), and HFM.
The SME will provide ongoing technical leadership, application governance, and best‑practice guidance while supporting existing applications and delivering continuous enhancements. This is a hands-on, senior-level role supporting multiple business entities across the organization.
This job will have the following responsibilities:Application Development & Enhancement
- Design, develop, and enhance Oracle DRM/DRG applications using industry best practices.
- Build and support DRG workflows, validations, blends, action scripts, imports/exports, and custom logic.
- Maintain metadata structures across Oracle ERP GL, EPM, HFM, and FP&A systems.
- Implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Batch, and other scripting languages.
Technical Leadership & SME Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise to guide metadata strategy, governance design, and application scalability.
- Define and enforce best practices for DRM/DRG development, integration, and metadata stewardship.
- Lead discussions with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to translate business requirements into DRM solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for ongoing application support (not project-only).
Integration & Metadata Governance
- Integrate DRM with Oracle ERP GL, HFM, PBCS/EPBCS, and other finance systems.
- Develop and maintain metadata mappings, hierarchies, workflows, and governance processes.
- Support reconciliation, metadata validation, and data quality controls.
Maintenance, Support & Documentation
- Troubleshoot complex DRM/DRG issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Deliver ongoing enhancements, performance improvements, and optimization.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, training materials, and user guidance.

Technical Skills
- 10–15 years of experience working with Oracle EPM ecosystem.
- Significant expertise in Oracle DRM/DRG (must have — not trainable on the job).
- Hands-on development experience with:DRM imports, exports, action scripts, validationsDRG workflows, approvals, governance modelsBlenders, versioning, and metadata lifecycle processes
- Strong experience integrating DRM with:Oracle ERP GLOracle PBCS/EPBCSOracle HFM
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Batch, and automation tools.
- Experience in Finance and Accounting environments (GL, Close, FP&A).
- Ability to troubleshoot, reverse-engineer, and optimize existing DRM solutions.
