Our product line is diverse in Utility, Power Grid, Standby Power Generation, Renewables, and Data Center. All of our products are custom for bid spec jobs and many of those are multiyear contracts that provide years of visibility.
Job Overview :
We are a fast-growing manufacturing company specializing in custom, engineered-to-order products. We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, managing financial transactions, and providing financial advice to the senior management team. The Controller will also be responsible for managing the accounting team, creating and implementing financial policies and procedures, and developing financial reports for the company.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the continued growth of the company and be a key member of our management teamProvide financial advice to the senior management team to inform decision-makingConduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, with a focus on cost control and reductionJob costing and profitability, including implementation of the processes to support accurate actual to estimate reporting and analysisPrepare and present financial reports to the senior management teamDevelop and maintain financial policies and procedures supporting the growth of the company and expanding our cost accounting functionManage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely recording of costs and revenuesManage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, with a focus on cost accounting for our custom, engineered-to-order productsOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsEnsure compliance with all financial regulations and lawsDevelop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as external auditor, tax profession and banksMonitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidityManage the company's budgeting process and monitor actual results against budgetRequirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeMinimum of 7 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environmentProven track record of success with increasing responsibilityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in ERP systems with a strong understanding of cost accounting modules and functionalityEqual Opportunity Employer / Minorities / Women / Veterans / Disabled
