The Project Manager will oversee enterprise initiatives involving:
- Server Infrastructure
- Network (LAN/WAN)
- Cloud Platforms
- Endpoint Management
- Identity & Access Management
- Core Platform Services
Scope of Work The Project Manager will:
- Lead infrastructure and security-related IT projects across the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Operations, Applications, Business Units)
- Align projects with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, FISMA, and CIS Controls
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and agency governance policies
- Support audit readiness, risk mitigation, and modernization strategy initiatives
Key Responsibilities - Develop project charters, scope documents, milestones, and success metrics
- Manage project lifecycle phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closeout
- Maintain documentation: risk registers, issue logs, decision records, schedules
- Monitor performance metrics and provide executive-level reporting
- Manage change requests and enforce governance standards
- Identify and mitigate risks, escalate critical issues
- Coordinate audit documentation and remediation efforts
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop communication plans and provide leadership briefings
- Support infrastructure hardening and cybersecurity best practices
Required Skills - 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT initiatives
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN fundamentals)
- 3+ years of experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework or comparable frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, CIS Controls)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)
- 3+ years of experience with Active Directory
- 3+ years of experience with Endpoint Management platforms
- 2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, and/or Excel
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills - Public Sector Security/Infrastructure Project Management experience
- Experience with CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance requirements
- Active PMP Certification
