This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our finance department, where you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, consolidations, monthly reporting, and audit functions. You will work closely with the Controller to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial data. This role is perfect for a seasoned finance professional who is passionate about healthcare, has a knack for numbers, and is ready to take their career to the next level. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. 2. Manage the consolidation of financial data for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. 3. Coordinate and lead audit processes, liaising with external auditors and managing any necessary follow-up actions. 4. Oversee the preparation of monthly reports, providing insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance. 5. Support the Controller in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 6. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, identifying trends and variances. 7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements by researching existing and new legislation and maintaining compliance records. 8. Act as a key point of contact for financial and audit-related inquiries, providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, consolidations, monthly reporting, and audit processes. 4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations. 5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. 6. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10.
