[job_card.job_description]Arrange trailers to be in proper staging position using yard mule or truck provided (Drive truck, hooks, and unhooks trailer) Assist other drivers for any issues dropping or picking up equipment from yard Follows outbound team leader's guideline & directions for proper yard maintenance Supervise gate inspection staffs to execute minimal wait time for drivers during inspection Validate accuracy of inventory data via daily / weekly inventory check Be a utility team player to allow efficient yard operation Audit all other Otay yards (XTRA, TILI, IMEX, Overflow yard) for inventory accuracy Maintain proper yard SOP & support establishing lean operation / improvement Maintain proper inventory via YMS system records audit / review while keeping appropriate Ingate / Outgate records Manage 3rd party repair vendors for onsite services, including equipment repairs Support other MQ FF Operations departments (Claims, Inbound Operations, Outbound Operations, Planning, etc.) when needed to combat discrepancies and / or fulfill customers and carriers inquiries related to yard operations Other duties as assigned Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Basic Life and AD&D as well as Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick leave Pet Insurance Hospital and Critical Illness Insurance Wellness Program and Gym Reimbursement 401(k) with Generous Matching Referral Bonuses Auto Allowance Quarterly Employee Lunches, Summer Refreshments, and Monthly Team Building Activities Discretionary Bonuses Tuition Reimbursement Benefits may vary by location. All benefits pursuant to Company policy Strong verbal and written communication skills Required Excellent organization and time management skills Required Commercial driver license Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred H.S Diploma / G.E.D Required Associate's Degree Preferred 3 - 5 Years of direct experience in Yard Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Required 4 - 7 Years of direct experience in Yard Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Preferred Valid Driver's License Required Commercial License Preferred Ability to sit in front of a desk and / or in front of the computer for long periods Possibility of operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, yard mule, etc Possibility of exposure to change in temperature such as the direct outdoor environment Repetitive use of hand / grasping product, writing, and typing Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals such as yard dust Possibility of domestic travel- 2% Lift up to 20lbs Carry up to 20lbs Stand / walk Typical office environment with low-level noise exposure This position is located in the San Diego, CA office Communication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email

Summary
The Senior Analyst - MQ Inbound Operations (Yard Operations) position will support yard operations at Otay Mesa. The assistant staff will work under general supervisor of the yard manager to maintain proper yard operation. This person will have commercial truck driving experience for operating yard mule to organize yard inventory. They will also manage inventory, supervise gate inspection staffs, and conduct requested tasks for proper yard operation and management.
Responsibilities
- Support Yard Manager for all requested tasks pertaining to yard operations
Ensure yard is operating under CTPAT guidelines
Troubleshoot as needed to facilitate seamless yard operations under supervision of Yard Manager
Compensation
$58,000-$63,000 Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
