Quanex is looking for Material Handler-2nd Shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC .

The Material Handler is responsible for sorting parts, performing quality inspections on molded parts and separating and sorting scrap material. This position is Monday-Thursday 2 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM.

    • What Success Looks Like :

  • Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
  • Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.
  • Inspect parts according to the specifications for quality, color, fit, form and function.
  • Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
  • Keeps the sorting area neat, clean and orderly.

    • Your Credentials :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

    • The hourly wage for this position is $16.00 / hr plus $.50 / hr shift differential.
