Job Title Certified OB Tech Job Summary Certified OB Tech needed for a travel assignment. Must be willing to float in rotation with staff and in accordance with floating policies. Charting system is Paragon with training provided. Key Responsibilities Provide surgical services as a Certified OB Tech. Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room. Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment. Float to other units as needed (ER, L&D, Post Partum, and NICU do not need to float as agency. For ICU, DOU, and tele we ask that they are available to float down. ICU may be asked to work DOU/TELE, DOU/tele Nurses will be asked to float to Med/surg). Adhere to hospital floating policies and Joint Commission standards. Required Qualifications 2 years experience in specialty required CA license in hand. No EMSA BLS certification. COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions Preferred Qualifications Previous Charge Experience : - Community Hospital Experience : - LTAC Experience : - Trauma Level I Experience : - Trauma Level II Experience : - Travel Experience : - Skills & Competencies Proficient in surgical services. Knowledge of sterile techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with Paragon charting system. Shift Details Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Licensing Requirements California State License
