Mental Health Therapist

Ascend Counseling is a boutique private practice located in Downers Grove. We serve individuals and couples seeking support and personal growth . We offer a collaborative, safe, and dynamic work environment where clinicians can do the work they love while finding a healthy work life balance. We currently have immediate openings for part time and full time licensed mental health professionals. Priority will be given to candidates with Child/Teen experience and/or Couples experience. Come join our growing team of passionate clinicians. This is a hybrid position with shifts in person and telehealth. Flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual sessions with patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide patient care and support in a compassionate and empathetic manner
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to address mental health issues

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with patients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
