Warehouse Manager

Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION : Warehouse Manager oversees operations at a warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming material is processed and stored according to standard operating procedures and outgoing material is processed on time in accordance with customer requirements. This is a 1st shift position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Manage warehouse supervisors and associates, monitoring work to ensure all requirements are met
• Establish warehouse best practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse operation
• Set team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee skillset
• Ensure all personnel training requirements are met IAW all training systems
• Ensure all personnel meet prescribed safety guidelines
• Communicate with other departments to build effective relationships
• Understand 3PL contractual metrics and address any non-compliances
• Appropriately manage Quality Assurance discrepancy reports and provide timely responses
• Determine root cause and corrective actions as required
• Lead cross-functional meetings with customers as required
• Other duties as assigned
