You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Compensation : $15.50 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
• Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system
• Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
• When business deems necessary, bartenders are responsible for Serving Dining Room tables, Bar tables, and Outdoor Front Sidewalk tables.
• Taking orders, making drinks, clearing dishes, and sanitizing tables.

Hotel Sutter is a historical building located in the heart of downtown Sutter Creek. We have a restaurant serving indoors, on our balcony, as well as out front on our Pallet Cafe. We have 2 bars, one located in our lobby and another downstairs known as our Copper Room. We also have a fully functioning 21-room hotel on our 2nd and 3rd floors.
